Rebecca is a tax lawyer. Her practice focuses on tax planning for individuals and privately-held companies. Rebecca helps her clients navigate the complex Canadian tax system, including structuring new and existing businesses, planning and implementing tax-efficient reorganizations, and creating and reorganizing trusts.

Rebecca joined Scion Law as a partner in 2022. Rebecca completed her law degree at the University of Victoria and articled at a regional law firm in Vancouver before clerking at the Tax Court of Canada in Ottawa. Prior to joining Scion Law, Rebecca practised for several years as a tax lawyer at a large, full-service downtown Vancouver law firm. 

Rebecca is recognized in the 2024 edition of the Best Lawyers in Canada directory for her work in trusts and estates.

Rebecca has completed the CPA Canada In Depth Tax Course, and she is a member of several legal and tax professional bodies, including the Canadian Tax Foundation.
